BOX Studios partnered with BDO, a leading global accounting and tax firm, to right-size its Rosemont, Illinois workplace from 14,000 SF to 8,000 SF while creating a more efficient, engaging environment for local and traveling employees. Located minutes from O’Hare International Airport, the refreshed workplace supports evolving workstyles, enhanced technology, and BDO’s local brand identity.
A hospitality-forward reception sets the tone with warm finishes, comfortable lounge seating, and a beverage bar. BOX focused design investment on the workplace’s highest-impact spaces, including a flexible, technology-enabled boardroom and a redesigned employee café featuring warm wood tones, quartz surfaces, open millwork, and Chicago-inspired artwork. Throughout the remainder of the suite, offices, project rooms, and support spaces were strategically integrated into the reduced footprint.
Through targeted improvements rather than extensive demolition, BOX Studios transformed an underutilized workplace into a cohesive, welcoming environment that maximizes the value of BDO’s existing space while maintaining operational continuity.
